Yesterday was an AWESOME day at NewJourney.  First we called off regular service at church and moved it to the Bay, where we had a baby dedication service and a water baptism.  Man it was great!! Joey and Shannon brought their son Caleb to be dedicated and I had the opportunity to baptize in water, 13 people.  Some were baptized for the first time since proclaiming Christ as Savior and some were baptized again after re-dedicating their life to Jesus. What an awesome day we had of fellowship and food.  Check out the video.

A few weeks ago the church voted on changing the name of the church to reflect a new direction that we were going in.  We are wanting the community that we reside in to know that something different is happening and that God is giving us favor.  I have been racking my brains out to to put together a logo that not only reflects the new name but also the community that we live in so with God’s help and Logomaker, I have been able to come up with what I think is a positive reflection of the church.  Here is our new name and logo.
